I was wondering what your thoughts are on the cone? That ridiculous lamp shade our owners insist we wear whenever we have some sort of injury. As if the injury isn't enough to bring us down they make us wear that silly cone. Everyone stares even though they pretend they aren't.
Thanks for asking that question. From one dog to another, I think that cone (thank g-d I've never had to sport one) is just demoralizing. I mean, humans never have to wear them, why should we. We are the higher evolved species after all.
I suggest next time you have to wear one, you get people to sign it like the humans do with a cast, with words of wisdom and support. See my blog about "kudos" to understand what I'm getting at here.
I'm a philosopher, observer, and an opportunist. Some may say I'm a real dog, but I believe that's all relative. If taken at face value...what you see is what you get, then - yes, I am a dog. My sincere hope is that after you read my blogs...you will never look at a dog the same way again.

Murphy,
